I'll admit my initial reason for reading is purely based on who the author is, as I neither knew he was gay or particularly cared either way.
to think in the 21st century people can still use the word of Jesus Christ as a physical force is diabolical, I am slowly reading more and more into Religion on a personal level and more and more you realise how utterly destructive it is to modern society and our compassion towards others, Its more the hinderance of artistic licensing which annoys me so, especially with his complaints against "blasphemous" statues, when did anyone have the right to say what is and isn't art? I don't have to enjoy or asthetically like a piece of art to give it a credit for being what it is, but I defend to the hilt an artists right to make that statement to the world from their own point of view.
Its embarrassing how narrow peoples view is upon the world, apparently you can have an opinion as long as it doesn't contradict that of your local unfriendly neighbourhood bible basher.
